If you’ve driven through any roadworks recently, you’ve have already been introduced to our high quality work, with the majority of kerbing on Local Authority roads (as of late) being laid by Rock Solid. We are the largest kerb layers (by volume) in Northland today. But did you know we provide far more than just concrete?

Rock Solid Concrete Northland Ltd is a locally owned and operated business. The driving force behind Rock Solid is a duo (Fred Smith & Heather McKay) who have successfully been providing their services and expertise to the region since inception in 2020 – but have operating within the region for over 20 years. Over the last 4 years, our business has sustained significant and steady growth, from concrete laying to forming and now to civil works as head contractor also.
We attribute this growth to our businesses key focus areas – quality and efficiency.

Rock Solid are well equipped with a considerable fleet of privately owned, modern, and environmentally friendly machinery and trucks, providing us with a competitive edge and all necessary plant required for your civil needs, including earthworks, drainage, foundations, roading and concrete work – with kerbing being our specialty!
